Wine Appreciation Course
How do experts recognize, identify and describe wines?
In this class students will learn what to look for in a glass of wine and how to describe it. Mike Petersen will identify the world’s major growing regions and discuss the process of grape growing and its vital importance to the success or failure of the wine and the winemaker. Finally, students will learn strategies for making good or even great food and wine matches and learn why some combinations work and some do not. There will be no wine tasting during this class.
